    Hey DOERanger, you got any pics and specs on your AR that you just picked up from Predator? I might sell my current AR and get them to build me one, just don't know which stage I want/need.

    That's actually a 4" service model. The subcompacts have a chopped grip and a 3" barrel.

    I've had mine for a couple of years now and I love it. I kinda wish I waited, because now the compact XDm's are out. Oh well, I don't know if I could choose between the two anyway.

    Now that you mention it your right. I didn't pay enough attention to the picture before. The subcompact comes with a 3" barrel versus the service model which has a 4" barrel and the tactical model has a 5" barrel.

    I sold a HK USP Tactical to buy the XDM .40 and I never looked back. I love the XDM how it shoots, fits my hand the quality of the build and the box it comes in is great for going to the range with. I recommend the XDM to anyone wanting a semi automatic hand gun.

    i took my carry class at rifle range its ok.if you ever get chance to go to oak ridge do it . i love it i think they have 7 or 8 different ranges.from a plinking range ,a block house for tactical,too a 1000yrd range
