Couldn't find anyone to spoon better with while at Moab.

Unlike @JKO1998 who locked himself in his truck. He didn't wanna cuddle with anyone. :pout:

Sad that @BartMaster1234 didn't even offer one of his rooms in the Marriott.

So I posted this up elsewhere but now it gave me an idea.

Long story short, I fabbed up an amp and crossover bracket for a local Land Cruiser owner and it got me wanting to put a subwoofer and amp in my own.

I've wanted to for awhile, just dealing with a case of the "I don't wannas".

Some pics of what I did for him.

Here's the "skeleton" I cut. This serves as the base for everything since MDF will be attached to one side (facing inward), and crossovers attach to the MDF (facing outward) via the openings to keep things hidden. Amp of course goes on the MDF side.

There will be no drilling into the interior panels or any weird shit like that. Also, he wanted to keep the panels on so we went with using the 3rd row seat mounts.

Here are the brackets being cut and bent.

    Fitment is fucking mint.

    20230623_103702.jpg

I was back and forth between square tube and rod, until I decided to opt for 1/2" rod. Now I didn't get any pictures of it but it took a lot of heat to finally bend it on a vise.

    Here's how it'll go.

    20230623_103734.jpg

With dimensions figured out, got the tacked into place.

    20230624_105620.jpg

    All welded up.

    20230624_111156.jpg

Everything above was again, for a customer however I now want to pursue buying a mono amp and making a smaller version of this mount.

In my case, I would mount the amp facing outward to keep it hidden from view and proceed with finally adding a subwoofer to my setup.

    You must be rich!!!!!:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I fucking need that shit too. Just bought a tool box but that is 100% next investment. Sick of making everything with 10-24 or 1/4. Just makes things better with the capability to set size to application.

More like spending more $$ than I need. I was fed up with looking for bolts and u end up buying more bolts. For example, 1/2-13 size, I have maybe 100 bolts and 100 nuts. Haha. Now, it's organized, no more buying
