I was just in northern Michigan a week ago. I'm told this is the most photographed sign on the UP.

Of course after being there we had to go straight here:

    Safe travels!

Installed a Yosh tail tidy on the grownup Grom today.

Before with the monstrosity that Honda puts on it:

    And after tidy:

Most Canadian bike plates are slightly bigger than American plates, so you can't always use the license plate bracket without trimming your plate. My Ontario plate fits the barket, but the holes are nowhere near to lining up. Rather than drill new holes or elongate the existing hole, I decided to try it without the bracket.

Do the CBR300R's get factory led turns? I always wondered why the NA specs CRF300's don't get them but the Asian/European market does:notsure:

Yeah. Budget bike, but Honda went full LED all the way around. Now that the whale tail is gone, the look of the stock exhaust doesn't bother me as much. The back of the bike doesn't look as busy as it did before.

I love my budget bike. It was just always strange they didn't just throw the LED turns on. It's not like they had to spend any extra on them

I also got rid of mine for a HRC smaller tail section.

The big tail pieces that are mandated for bikes are ridiculous. I'm sure the manufacturers hate having to put them on their bikes too.

When I had the WR250R, I replaced the stock turn signals with DRC LED ones. The lights were okay, but they had like a rubber bushing on them so they would flex if you hit something or dropped the bike. That rubber dried out and cracked within months.

Big time. I ran the Tahoe side to Loon Lake of the Rubicon on my wr450 in 3hrs and 45min.... some guys take 2+ days in their 4 wheeled vehicles to go the opposite (easier) way.

Dude those were such cool bikes. Thats back when honda used to think outside of the box!

How do you like the CB250/300R? I saw one about a year ago in the darker matte blue as i was walking out of the moto dealer and did a hard stop and turn around to really look at it as it caught my eye. I was like... damnit, its small, light, but way more useable than the grom ... I considered selling my grom to get one.

    hahaha africa single!

I'm about to change it up. I ordered some white plastics for the tail, side, front fender and guards. Once those come in, I'm going with a Repsol theme. The company told me they could customize it and take the 3 off and change the Akrapovic to Yoshimura. I may even change the RK to DID since that's the chain I bought. The Bridgestone doesn't really matter b/c for now, I'm gonna give the Tusk D-Sports a try

Well I cut my trip short, came home early this morning as the weather forecast is not good and a low pressure system with thunderstorms is rolling in. But I did get about 300+ miles in. The bonneville does work as a tourer, but I think a new comfort seat is need for long days in the saddle. Averaged 51mpg at 75mph on the highway turning 3000rpm.
I might get to do some more local riding on wednesday.
