Faaaawk. I’d like to pick this up. Fair price.
But funds right now are going to the house.

I’m not in love with my 1st gen DC like I am with my 98 xtra cab. But I’ll be keeping it.

However yesterday I sold the SmittyBuilt tube steps (stupid cheap) and they didn’t even fit in the fawking 5’ bed diagonally.

This short bed is killing me.

I drove one of these for years, really miss it. Back then this was a standard bed and could fit 4'x8' sheets of plywood flat between the fender wells and tail gate closed. Same mpg's as a Tacoma.
This was the 6' shortbox version. They also made a less popular shortbox fleetside.
All 6' bed Tacoma's are shortbox. The 5' bed is a trunk.

If I had a 3rd gen T4R at least I’d be able to fold the back seats down and possibly fit more stuff in it.

The trade off with the xtra cab is that is has just as bad cab space issues. And with the fam and dog, it doesn’t work.

For whatever it's worth, the body worked appears to be done pretty well. I actually saw it in the wild this morning before I saw the CL ad.

Obviously, that doesn't explain "why" other than maybe "because they could". I'd guess it was done by someone with access to a body/paint shop and plenty of free time.

Nature putting on a show on the Back Country mountain bike trails. I’ve never seen the flowers so prolific as they are today. Wide variety too.

Nah, bro. Just fill the one in my vision and don't take away my nice 2015 Toyota OEM Pilkington glass and give me your crap replacement that will look like it has been sandblasted in less than a month of use.

Little bit of heat last week and everything has started to pop. Even the grasses are bursting right now.
