nothing fancy today, just blindspot mirrors and first application of RainX!

 

UpTop Retrax Truss bed rack w/Alpha EX cap rack. The rack overall is built like a tank, but the instructions are scattered and ended up being nearly useless as an obvious re-design of the rack connection parts made what I got very different than any full instructions I could find.
In the end got it all installed and am super happy with the end result.











Also got a SnailArmor tailgate liner installed as well....




I've got light pods for the holes in the EX cap rack, but no actual lights yet...... hopefully soon.

 

So glad I have this awning. It was hot as hell putting on my new sliders today.

Before doing anything, I'd contact CaliRaisedLED. I had an issue with some cat shields and they bent over backwards to make it right as quickly as possible, and they did. Didn't have to send the incorrect ones back. No idea how they'd handle the sliders, but I'd drop them a note using the contact form on their website. They'll send you a link to an online form where you can highlight the issue(s) and attach a few photos. They were very prompt and professional in my case. They even followed up later to be sure I was satisfied.

being an official toyota part doesn't matter in the slightest.
All the tacoma frames are built the same. This information is readily available to whoever is making after market parts.
The angles don't change. The frames don't change.
The manufacturer knows every angle, length, hole. it's not "guess work".

 

Just a wash today. Guess I did pop out the rear bumper cap that decided to give a lonely spruce a kiss on the trail....

 

what i was thinking. could be a set for 2nd gen instead of 3rd gen.
first thing to do is double check the invoice and what you [they] ordered.

Not quite related to this thread, but this is just a little crazy not to mention. I have seen several 2023 Sports for sale above 48K here in Colorado. Nothing special about them. And I saw a Off Road Double Cab going for over 53K. The only thing special about it was the TRD lift kit. Finally, there was a TRD Pro going for less than 51K.

And to make sure to stay with this thread's focus, I got the OTT (Light/Mild). So far I Love it.
