40 years ago it wasn't shocking, in a performance application. The power windows meant you used the 2-80 AC..roll down the 2 windows and drive 80mph haha.

Thinking back to the GM vehicles I recall my family having the 83-84 models usually were digital. Though Mom's 83 Malibu wagon was analog, as was Dad's 84 Citation. Friend of mine had a 84 Camaro with T roofs and pretty sure his radio was analog. Not sure when it shifted to Delco for the factory stuffs.

My 77 Malibu I inherited had AM only and one speaker, middle of the dash is why I suspect that. It had the cutouts in the trunk for rear deck 6x9s.

I grew up in Hingham MA about 15 minutes from Hull, next town over. Huge beach there though the other stuff like the arcades and midway ain't much anymore

After two car shows we tried to go to were cancelled on account of rain that never showed up, and yet another started late (after I'd gone home thinking it was cancelled), we finally went to one on Sunday that wasn't cancelled! Almost three years ago, this 1967 Oldsmobile 442 was hit by a runaway Dodge Challenger in the exact same spot where it is parked in these pictures...
