RCI sliders & engine skid, BAKFlip MX4, PPF, and many other smaller things
Installed my @RCI-Offroad aluminum engine skid this afternoon.

The OEM removal and skid install was pretty straightforward, about an hour total including gathering tools (sockets and Husky foam pad) and cleaning up; and I don't have a lot of experience. I did it completely on the ground and used my exclusive 'skid holder uppers' (also known as paint cans) to hold it up while I put the bolts in. My sliders sure made it easier to pull myself under and out from under the car for the rear bolts. And it gave me a good look at the sliders from the underside; those things are sturdy! Those were installed by RCI when I picked them up earlier this year from their factory.

Another reason I won't buy sliders that require shipment. If this happened to me, with the price of the sliders and shipping costs, the local 911 center would be getting calls from my neighbors something like this: "I'm hearing some ungodly screaming and yelling coming from my neighbors house, It sounds like he's possessed!". Until I can buy local or even build them myself, I'm going without.
Seriously dude, I'm in your corner and hoping things work out for the best.

    Thanks!
We tow an off road trailer around the country, and will be using the EX rack for our kayaks and likely 270 awning poles. The truss rack will support propane, shovel/axe, recovery gear including straps and D rings, traction pads and 4 gallons of petrol.

It's ironic, after 7 EJSs, and 30,000 miles on the off road trailer going into some seriously hairy areas, the only thing (recovery wise) that we haven't used yet is the spare tire

I’m jealous even though we have Big Sur. Your accessibility to off-roading fun is a blessing to you. I know you appreciate it and you have the ultimate backyard!

Order a set from RCI…. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve never seen an issue on here and I have a set myself. Fits like a glove!

Glad to hear, as it reenforces what I already seemed to have picked up, since I have an RCI rear bumper and skids a ways into their lead times from RCI.... hopefully some time in early July for both.

Got my free upgraded BD sae fog lights back on Sunday afternoon.
I was going to wait and install them in my new bumper when I get around to installing it.
However, that idea fell victim to my wanting to see how they worked.:D

I did remove the 14mm bolt.. my next step was to put it back in after squaring the sliders up to the frame.

Before you go calling anyone about parts made incorrectly. That tab is thin and can bend during shipping.

I would suggest you first compare the tabs on both the sliders to see if one is clearly off. Which would help in identifying a bent tab. They could also both be bent, so take that into consideration. I would force the install by removing the 14mm bolt from the frame, place the slider as close as possible and jack into place with the floor jack. Use the weight of the truck. That will bend the tab into position where you can align the rest of the bolts.

Bent tabs are common with any company and common with any one who spends time in the garage. Don't over think it.
If you want to get them on you will.

Where can i purchase it from? Looking at the layout it appears you use the lower air intake box and just toss the cover and old tube assembly and just install this kit over the top and re use the clamps and install the new air filter as well, am I correct?
I found it on Amazon for like 340.00 for the kit, but will keep looking for a better price before i commit to it.

    Good morning Everyone,
so I work with this girl at Home Depot, she drives a 2019 SR% and she recently had it fixed after an accident, now i don't know if she is driving her truck wrong and or she is just straight up clueless, but she seems to think now that the truck is lagging in power and she is getting horrible gas mileage. i asked when it was tuned up last, she said last year.

    any suggestions?

Nice job, so what about the little scratches, I'm sure there will be more over time, where did you get the extra usb adapter? and was it an easy install? I want to relocate mine as well so i don't have to reroute the cable for apple car play. I am really tired of the wire strung up over my dash.

Had my cab mounts redone by @drtfabrication on Saturday. Then had to go out and test them on Sunday at Four Peaks, ha. Had them replaced after breaking the DIY version that had been installed for 3+ years. Truck oddly feels more stable, ha. Hammer hangers and cross bar are next on my to do list. Derik's work is just fire!
