Morning all, kiddo had nightmares last night. Nobody got much sleep. Gonna be a rough Monday, but the bills dont care if you're tired. Here we go!

You should be able to transfer to a place it is Hot and Humid more to your liking and take the heat and humidity with you.

 

I can, but there's no place like home, which is PA/MD. There's other reasons I don't want to move back South, but yea

They've bumped the temps up a lil bit, at least it doesn't say it's going to be hot Friday!

 

Mentioned to one of the shop guys that the new plotter takes 2" core rolls of paper and the ones we have are 3" so he made me some non-edible donuts.



After a quick test run, they work perfectly.

 

We learn new things all the time here.


The difference between "Hot" and "Mostly sunny" being one degree for instance.

 

Will you be sending a little edible compensation his way as a TY?

Got a mystery for you.

I have this industrial Westinghouse fan. The motor/switch decided to short out. It's mostly metal, so any humidity would cause a person to get a " jolt" when brushing against it.

I took it apart.

The cloth covered wiring up to the windings has degraded beyond saving.

I'm looking for a motor equivilent. Something a little more newer than 70 years.

If you choose to undertake this mission, this message will self destruct in...

About the same time it takes me to toss this fan in the scrap metal pile. Lol.

 

I would really like to rehab this thing. It was a gift from my dead mother in law. Her daughter is kind of counting on it going another 50 years.
