I feel like a “just stop living in the Midwest “ meme would get a lot of mileage in this thread.

A/C compressor capacitor was bad. Turned a $79 job into a $349 one, so I told him to put the old one back and overnighted a new capacitor for 20 bucks lol. So a bit hot for the next 18 hours but that's just gouging plain and simple. Was a nice guy though, just dealing with shitty company pricing

In other news, the 4x bumper is here woot!

Well, let me clarify that. Genmitsu 3020 pro max CNC router. I have the makita spindle for it though. So, will upgrade prob right away. Its small. 8x13 work size I think with option to triple that I believe w a new plate and tracks. Im honestly not looking forward to trying to use one of those programs like fusion. Basically just need it for brackets. Sick of fabbing garbage aluminum items.

Gonna be here 7/1 or 2. Ill def send you some vids as soon as I can get it working. Prob be perfect addition to the Kwik-Fab shop. Cheap too. Well, cheap if it cuts aluminum like it is supposed to.

Minnesota is looking better and better with all this weather. You’d just need a winter beater.

Update on the Rock Auto Door Seals. Been monsooning for like 2 days straight here and have 2 leaking. When the door compresses the outside part, it becomes higher than the inside part. The water goes down from top of door then into middle of seal and into fucking truck. Threw my 2 good oem ones out like last week. Gonna try to move them around a little at some point but the old beat to shit oem ones didn't leak at all. fml.
