We had a soaking rain for a couple days that was really helpful in this dry spell we're under. One of the oddest late Spring early Summer we've had in a while. I've been having to wear a flannel shirt leaving work several days last week, well heck a lot of June o_O

That lake is huge for scuba diving because of lost cars 50s - 70s who thought the lake was frozen enough to cross and boats delivering lumber that all sank

Bummer that we won't be back in time to say hello. We did a lunch cruise last year that was super fun and we've talked about going back for their Octoberfest one but we'll see. You driving from there to Whitefish? If so, you'll see why we rarely venture to ID in the winter because imagine it with lots and lots of snow/ice and it's sketchy AF.

My sister is in Sandpoint so we’ll drive to Whitefish. It’s about 190 miles.

We’ll probably be back in the winter to see what it’s like and maybe make the move!

We’ll definitely be back next summer for an extended stay so we’ll have to meet up!

I saw a grasshopper jetskiing around one of my cypress trees whilst the rest of my yard is strewn with grasshopper skeletons that dehydrated due to the current arid conditions.

Sandpoint is so beautiful. We would have loved to have found something up there but the inventory just wasn't happening when we were looking. Does your sister wheel at all? We would have gone to Mountain Havoc this year but our friends wedding and this trip... It was too much going on in the month of June so hopefully we'll make it out next year :fingerscrossed:

You need to make time to go-to the Kootenai suspension bridge on your way to Whitefish... And of course stop by your namesake for a photo op
