I thought POR 15 was just a primer? :notsure:

We'll see. It's what I used on the bumper, which is holding up well, aside from the stone chips. I figured this would be easy to touch up. All I know is that if they're totally trashed again next year, I am going to pay someone to powder coat them.

Por-15 is just a primer or undercoating, it says to paint over it on the can IIRC.

I was kinda surprised with how tough that powder coating was...until I'd hit places where rust got under it, then it just blew off!

I sprayed on the bed-liner. I'm not feeling great about it because I somehow wound up with air bubbles in a few spots. I think I was holding the can too close. I tried to get rid of the bubbles as best I could, and then sprayed a few more coats in. I guess I'll find out how it turned out when I put them back on in a few days. :notsure:

I don't think so. The bedliner has a texture to it, which seems to be a bit non-skid. Plus, I don't think tape would adhere to it very well.

@OldSchlPunk put some pretty nice grip tape on his. It seems like a very good idea!

Wouldn't that defeat the "slider" action?

I'm thinking he meant on top, for grip when standing on them. :notsure:

I don't think lift height makes a difference, here. The extended brake line should only be necessary for added droop due to extended travel coilovers.

    Absolutely not!

Well, I'm just hoping the stuff on top will hold up. I went with this product because I figured it would be easy to touch up. ;)

If we are only talking about the front lines, you don't need much (if any at all) extension. Stock length works, +1" length works. I went with +1" just because but it isn't needed. There's a thread about it somewhere on here. Rear is a different story and typically those are of the +4" variety.

This. Probably only long travel guys really need extension in the front.

Well, now I've gone off on this rabbit hole. Parts are being ordered for the front AND, yes I know we don't need it, BUT I love the idea, so... Rear disc brakes. Once I get the fronts finalized, I am going to flesh out rear discs. Want E Brake, so going to have to do some work... Thinking with the few searches I have done that I can keep it under 1k with e brake. Nice challenge. Please burst my bubble @wis_taco or @CygnusX191 as I think I need to stop the financial hemorrhage...
