Weird noise at the beginning of each gas pedal press

Just got my tacoma 2023 trd or 2 month ago and put 2k miles on it. Started from two weeks ago, I noticed weird noise at the beginning of each gas pedal press. Sounds like pressurized gas was released. The sound lasts only half second and only occurs when speed is under 50 mph. I found a couple of posts showing exact same issue to mine. Anybody know what this sound might be caused by? I can't get any useful information from those posts and wonder if I should concern about this issue.

just sounds like air rushing in the throttle body which is normal when quickly pressing the gas. initially there is a large vacuum in the intake manifold that quickly sucks air in

 

Thank you very much for the information. As long as it's normal, I'll just live with it. Love my taco, the engine is quite noisy though.

 

Totally normal. It will get MUCH louder if you tune with an aggressive tip-in. I love the sound...even though the 3.5 is gutless at low RPM, it sounds good when taking off from a red light! haha

 

Don't know exactly what it is but it is for sure normal. Can confirm, it's more aggressive with an aftermarket tune. I don't really notice it now that I'm back on stock tune, unless I'm looking for it.

 

It must only happen on certain trims. My sr5 3.5 does nothing of the sort. It almost sounds like the truck has gas, and needs a dose of beano.
