I'll get some more pictures added in tomorrow but cooked some burgers and hand made jalapeño sausages as well it was definitely a great time. Like I said we got to get a tacoma world meet put together and get some wheeling and camping in I run veteran overland for the east coast and know all of the areas from the GAT and the Traverse some of the best campsites hands down I've been to.

Why don't we run the Traverse? The fall is a great time for that.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
It’s a blast on the motorcycle!

I'd like to do a small group day trip to go wheeling at Kimbell creek as well. I went alone and went on a couple spots but didn't do the whole trail. I heard a jeep ahead of me struggling on something and my wife said she didn't want us to go any further. Haha

Let's find another weekend day to run Kimbal Creek with @banditcamp.

It will be a good meet-in-person day - and plan for the Traverse.

We'll work it out so you have time.

I'll probably work until noon on Friday as well. I figure we can meet around dinner time somewhere near the trailhead.

I believe there are plenty of places to leave the traverse, so leaving on Sunday should not be an issue. I think we can get to end, and still have to get home on Sunday.

We'll get it figured out - we have plenty of time.

Nice. From what I've read the east section is more interesting than the west. Is that true?

    I don't know - I've never run the Traverse.

I've planned to several times, but something always came up. NOT THIS YEAR! (I hope.............)

I also try to do little day trips almost every weekend. Sometimes Friday after work because I get off at lunch on Fridays. Then some weekends it may be Saturday or Sunday. So anyone who wants to go wheel, trail ride, hike to waterfalls, kayak, etc are welcome to join.

Weekend/holiday plans were canceled due to plumbing work at the lakeside cabin we would stay in. I sold my boat last weekend. Buying another boat, but the process is delayed until later next week. I am trying to devise an alternative for the family that includes water and staying far away from large groups of people. Northeast Georgia, willing to travel 2 hours to find some outdoor fun. I have kayaks, and will travel. Any recommendations?
