    Why not just take the 4Runner rear axle and put it in the Tacoma you would be .300 wider on both sides

    Trails up by @ pearing are kinda tight. That extra .300 on each side may lead to getting stuck between 2 trees.

    I can attest to this statement being true. The install might actually be a PIA because of the different suspension types. Fun challenge, but I am focused on disc brakes right now so I defer to someone else...
