Ask your insurance what glass coverage you got. Mine allowed for oem glass to be installed

The second insurance paid replacement windshield I got when I asked for Plilkington was Fuyao. I feel it is softer so it scratches easier than Pilkington and the OEM glass.

I already know that with State Farm, it’s not OEM or anything of quality. They force me to safelite, and if safelite refuses to fix the surface chips then they will require a full replacement of their junk glass.

State farm has an option for free replacement that I will be adding to the policy when I do replace.

State Farm also has a free option of switching to another company that is slightly less crooked.

New seat. Fits me much better.

Should be more comfortable for the next fender lizard as well.

Anyone else with a front end clunk want to split shipping and get new bolts that don’t cause the issue?

This isn’t just getting whatever SAE wrong size bolt and hoping for the best, it’s a Metric bolt so you don’t have to carry that ONE extra socket on the trail.

    $15.44 for 2x bolts/washers/nuts.
    $10.05 shipping (for this quantity)

Hey there, looking for recommendation(s) on where to take our Land Cruiser 100 series for service in Winter Park Area. One my boys has the LC up there and of course there is an issue with the vehicle that needs to be looked at.

So I'm going out to Colorado the 8th and staying a week. I was wondering about the camping situation, whether I should just keep all my food/cooler inside the cab of the truck? Rather not wake up to a very large furry friend ransacking my campsite.

My lifetime cooler claims it's Certified Bear resistant...

    Applicable to 1st gens also?

I have front end clunk but I just chalked it up to the shoddy Broheim work the previous owner had “Jazz Up My Ride” do before I bought the truck.

Not exactly sure what it is but I figured I’d see if it goes away when I put the new front suspension on.

It’s not so much the bears you have to worry about but moreso the little critters getting into it.

When I disperse truck camp I just have everything in the bed of my truck overnight. No problem.

When I backpack I do hang my food (and toiletries/bug spray/etc) about 1/8 to a 1/4 mile away.

How soon could you have them? I'll be in Denver 8-9th, then CO Springs 9-13th.

Im a bit old school with backpacking.

When I’m sleeping in a tent I literally want nothing in the tent or near the tent.

Trying to teach my kid not to use their pant leg to wipe a bit of food off their hand was a long journey…

Bear resistant is not bear proof and bears can can tear open doors and apparently smell WiFi, so you may have a furry friend eating your seats. I'd keep the food in the bed or tie it up in a tree some distance away that they can climb so they can get to it that way without being bothered. Just keep the noise level high and they prolly won't bother you. I've had them wander to the edge of camp and just yelled at them and they scoot away.

The mosquitoes here will go after bug spray.
