    @Kwikvette ,

    JD Fab and Rogue Fab benders both have dies for .5" round. RogueFab has 2.5 and 3.5" centerline radius. JD Fab has 2.25", 3", 3.5", 4.5" CLR and more. The Rogue Fab dies less than an inch are "combo dies" two different sizes supported by the die and are ~$300. JD Fab dies appear to be ~$180.

    No way, that would make the tube bender even more versatile versus buying two separate tools.

    Now you need to find a die maker willing to trade labor for your lovely fab work.

    She got installed earlier; figured I'd let the paint dry outside the garage -

    Again, that rear mount is a temporary solution :luvya:

    Will see what it'll take so I can make one for the transmission. Still got plenty of 1/4" left but I may go 3/16" since it'll be tucked in bit higher.

    So I recently bought an auto darkening helmet and when the filler is nice and molten the darkening seems too dark, but also too light when it’s not fully arcing yet. What should I adjust first?

    What make hood?

    It depends on just what type of controls your hood has.

    If it is to dark when welding you need to adjust the shade down. Every ones eyes are a little different.

    The normal light shade often can not be adjusted in many cases. I have never used one that could be.

    It has sensitivity and delay as adjustments, maybe I should read the manual. :rofl:

    I would not trust my eyes to a $50 hood.

    As for "too dark" ..shade 10 is normal for MIG and most likely what yours is set to.
