just a couple of things tbh
yup its a really cool kit but super pricey... i do like the xsr900 in its standard looks but id prefer a more sport style with that engine so im hopeful for the gp version.

@pndwind has a sweet 79 CB750. I've been telling him it's trashed and that I would take it off his hands free of charge. I'm trying to clean up America

I own both a Triumph Thruxton, which is similar to the W800, and a CBR600RR. These bikes are nothing alike. The Thruxton is heavier and has a somewhat forward leaning riding position, but is no where near as aggressive as the CBR. Overall, it is a lot more comfortable to ride. The CBR is lightweight and nimble, but very compact/ tight, and I'm only 5'11." I would base your decision on preferred riding style and usage. The CBR is built for the track. Cafe bikes are a lot better for street riding compared to supersports. To put it in perspective, I am selling my CBR600RR, but have no plans to ever part with the Thruxton.

SWEET! Man those are nice. If that’s an actual 750f they seem to be getting pretty scarce.

Take a drive in the country, and look in people's yards. My friend gets alot of his projects for free. Beats whatever people are asking on fb, like @oldtoyman was griping about.

my friend Rheannon is selling her old CB550 for a song and a dance. She bought it at the height of the cafe racer craze like seven or eight years ago for I think $8000 (granted it was all polished up and in much better shape) and now can't even get $1000 for it.

And out of curiousity, this is what my local FB marketplace looks like for CB's. They're all over the place here.

I'll be intrigued to hear your thoughts on it when you get it. When they released it my thought was just "huh, it's a $400 rain jacket, I don't get it." Am I missing something?
