Next step paint booth. After melting my plastic cap and bending that weak ass tailgate I’m stoked for the @RelentlessFab tailgate and cap. Strong as hell and not as heavy as I thought it would be. Let’s go baby.

Finally got good comms installed
Icom 2730A 50 watt ham radio with a tram-browning dual band antenna

 

Made some progress on the winch. The new winch mount fits in the bumper and is all lined up and bolted to the truck. Templates have been cut to finish the plating in the front of the bumper. Next is to cut the plate and tack it in place. Then pull the bumper back off and weld the hole mount and bucket up with the new plates. I’m very happy with how this is turning out. Also special thanks and shout out to Roseleno Inc in Fullerton for letting me use their shop. Can’t believe what a difference space and proper tools make. Haha stupid statement but you don’t know till ya know.

More progress. Slow but forward. The new 1/4” plate is probably overkill…. Then again it’ll hold up to whatever bashings get thrown it’s way so…..

ugly welds don’t care. Strong like bull no doubt.
