    Long bed or short bed?
I have a long bed with the exact same sliders. I thought they did not fit either until I found out they mount differently between the two..
    Sorry to hear that man.
Hope you get that resolved with them!

Agreed just paid mine off this week, made a joke with my wife like the truck drives a lot nicer now that we actually own it.

After the heavy rainstorms earlier this year in SoCal, the Taco had some moisture issues with the BD Squadron Pros that led to flickering light operation on the driver side fog light. Shout out and big thanks to the @Baja Designs warranty team, especially Jeff for his great customer service and communication. Also, thanks to Frank at S&R who received the lights and got them over to Jeff right away for processing after I dropped them off at their facility on June 13th (wifey and I were in the area and I was able to drop them off with ease). Jeff and their team got the lights ready the next day and I got them about a week later last Wednesday. Just opened up the box today to reinstall and I was surprised to see that they looked to be a new set! Super cool of them to do that if that’s the case. Now that the Taco has the Squadron Pros onboard again, I can resume blinding people on the fre… *ahem* resume having supreme visibility when driving off-road at night in the wilderness.

Tim at RCI recommended this for the scuffs on their sliders and skids; said it matches their powder coat well and he uses it when he gets back from wheeling: Krylon Rust Tough 12 Ounce Semi-Flat Black Spray Paint (it's cheaper at O'Reilly's than Amazon).
I picked up a can to hit the spots where I have tire rubbing (someone else's - I think my sliders saved my side from another car!) but haven't gotten around to it yet. It's super annoying to get something new that is scratched, but you may add your own scratches to it when you hit the trail.

I was lucky to score some auto dent removal tools from a friend who upgraded his tool set. You can find lots of options on Amazon, just search "auto dent removal tools", lots to chose from and not expensive. It worked for me using a heat gun and dent puller, you may not have same outcome. I'm very picky with how my vehicles look and I'm happy with the result.

He isn't. I think I just got lucky. He and I had talked many moons ago about an install and labor and then he stopped. The shop he recommended was about 7 weeks out and my stuff was broke, ha. I just wish I would have had him do it the first time. But now I know.

Ya, Derik's will be my third round on that cab mount, ha. First a CMC, then a DIY relocate, now the big boy parts, ha.

I'll just put this here, ha. And yes, I did replace the 12" brackets with 14" ones. Those clear the door perfectly.

Nice! Derik did my CMC a year or so ago and couldn't be more happy. I'll upgrade to his CMR if I ever upsize the tires but I'm in no hurry lol.

FEDEX sucks. Luckily for my RCI sliders there was no damage. The boxes was banged up, retaped, had a hole, ect. But glad RCI packaged in inside properly. I'm sure most FEDEX/UPS workers don't care about these heavy items during transport.

We sure don’t! One crushed skid plate on the bottom of the stack is better than 15 crushed boxes if you were to put it on top. Onus of proper packaging is on the shipper.
As someone else said there’s no good way to package these kinds of items for shipping. Consumers want it all; cheap shipping, secure packaging and quick delivery. However, almost always, you can only pick two.

I'm keeping the bumps themselves as spares since I still love them up front and they've gotten super pricey now, but I could sell you the top plates and pedestals if you want. I don't recommend reusing U-bolts but if you wanted them I could throw them in - I ran them with the Archive 9/16" u-bolts instead of the wimpy 1/2" ones the kit came with. Shoot me a PM if interested.

Actually some dense foam in plastic cups at the corners would prevent the skid plate from shifting in the cardboard box. Or for the price of the skid plate adding another $10 for a wooden crate would also be acceptable if it prevented damage. In my OP I stated the shipment was 2 pieces. One was delivered and the skid plate was not. It was another 5 days before I received the damaged package.
So it turns out the shipping wasn’t cheap, it wasn’t quick, and it wasn’t secure. 0 for 3.
