Changed out the Chineseium headunit to a basic pioneer. Added front (in Toyota emblem) and rear (license cover) cameras with switchable controller for front on... When wife parks, although she did do a "Marsha Brady" parking the camerless Sienna the other day. 1/4" from the p/u

Ceramic tint@ 35% all the way around + 0% ceramic on windshield for heat control.

https://longrangeamerica.com/product/ttacdcr/ Interesting, though I recall replacing the leaky tank on the '71 IH Scout II with a plastic tank after driving it home to Cordova, Alaska from western Montana in 1996. That truck is still there, RIP. (Rusting In Place or Peace, as so many have. IH did not coat the interior sides of the body panels until the 1979 model year, and 1980 was the last year of production.) ARB makes long range tanks in plastic, but that will take more research... for the Tacoma in the US.

The Tacoma World "AC Drain Mod" is a must, though we'd consider it an "accessory" rather than a "modification" since it only requires adding two feet of 5/8" heater hose to the end of the AC drain, routing it downward and securing it with a cable tie or two, to drain on the ground instead of the frame.

    Ain't working on trucks fun?

I think my fav is changing how the head unit is switched from daytime brightness to nighttime. The stock setup of "switching on the headlights must mean you want to dim the display" - that's just stupid. So I added an Arduino micro controller to read the dash brightness signal and switch the display day/night mode. Now I decide when the dash should be bright or dim and the head unit goes along with it.

While the dash was torn apart, I also added a switch to choose which camera input should be displayed on the head unit - and the switch matches the design of the rest of the dash.

Day and night different. X-Runners were "under-braked" coming from Toyota. Pretty sure they wanted owners to spring for their TRD BBK package. I dragged my feet in buying that for over a decade when I bought this StopTech version. This is the TRD BBK package with the original manufacturer's name on it.

Now there's no more squishy pedal, and the brakes don't fade. They work the first time, every time.

Mine's gotta be my aftermarket fender-liners. Really keeps the mud off the back of my fog lights.

What size did the disc go to? I'm amazed Toyota still used drums on the truck. My 06 Sienna has 4w disc

Bed liner paint job. Some places I've been it actually rubs bark off of the brush onto the fenders and doors but it hasn't got a scratch yet. My daughters like it too when they help me clean off the snow from the windshield. 20221230_112539.jpg

Probably my $4 stick on Autozone blind spot mirrors. Sure the fog lights, light bar, reverse lights, tint, lift, wheels, tires, and radios are nice, but the blind spot mirrors are the best. No more surprises when I do head checks, and they're invaluable when the back is loaded up or pulling a trailer.
