What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Did the Ultimate Headlight Upgrade with the Headlight Services harness. Made a bracket for the relays but I'm waiting for paint to dry so pictures come later. I haven't driven it out of the city at night just yet, but I can tell a difference, even on streelight-washed streets.

 

@drtfabrication CMR kit came in cant wait to get installed!

 

Dropped it off at the upholstery shop to get Katzkin's put in today/ tomorrow .

 

Although not today, but I hit a deer 2 weeks ago. The truck is fine, the major damage was the left fog light was destroyed, and the 2 bottom tabs of the left headlight were broke. Might look into getting an ARB bumper in the future.

 

What kind of seats do you have?
Did they look like this?


If so and the OEM seat covers are in good condition, I’d be interested in them.

 

Added vent visors, Uni filter mod, paid for the auction I just won that has Ajt shifter and climate knobs. Excited for those to come in.

 

Unfortunately I have the beige color and fold flat passenger seat from 09 Access cab SR5. But going to be black with perforated. Sorry.

You bet! They are in prestine condition had seat covers on them since new, when I get it back will post up for sale.

Anybody have any solutions to mount Traction Boards up by the windows in a canopy? I'd also like to mount a spare gas thingy (rotopax?) On the other side. I want it up and out of the way of my bed.

I'd like to avoid drilling into the canopy. Maybe something that utilizes the bed rails?

 

I put a 10 cutoff wheel in my miter box and cut about 3/16 inches off the bottom of the reinforcement(s).




There are other solutions but the King mounts get in the way.

 

i mean aluminum bar is pretty easy to work with build some straps off of the rails, or maybe even build off of the canopy mounts itself. i would hate to drill into your topper and likely introduce leaks, and its not a quick patch if you hate it

Pictured is the aluminum bracket I put together for the relays. Nothing fancy but it does the job. I offset it from the inner wall of the engine bay with 10mm nylon spacers so it would clear the plastic clips I used to slide the relays over.

For those wondering, the factory bolt holes are M8 x 1.25 in this location.

 

that is the best part of toyota, if its not M8x1.25, its M6x1.00, well outside of the big stuff
