I was scared at the price too and was preparing myself to front it. But my Tourmaster jacket isn't waterproof (without the rain liner) and when I got caught in rain, it adds so much water weight.

Main goal for this is to lighten gear. I want to add some separate armor, maybe like Alpinestars bionic chest protector. Still not ready to get a jersey. But also to be waterproof.

And I have no idea what I want for pants yet. Originally I wanted Klim Dakar in the boot pants, but a couple friends locally are over Klim, which is telling me to look at other things too. I think im going to stick with over the boot pants. Just want something water resistant and has airflow (if that's possible). Maybe Thor or a different enduro pant. Goal is less than $200.

I mean I've seen them with squiggly lines to warn of tires sliding but never where tracks from the tires on each side of the car can somehow overlap each other???

Frogg Toggs are great for lightweight, easy to pack gear. Some of my Iron Butt friends swear by them. They're even helpful if it suddenly gets colder than you anticipated as they can easily be put on over your existing stuff to give you another layer.

Well I guess the old saying you get what you pay for. Received my body work from Amotopart and it’s pretty much CRAP!! There is damage to some parts along with some pretty big runs in the clear, and even different color yellows on the tank cover. I am not happy. I reached out to the company and they are going to do nothing about it. Here are the pics.

    That sucks.

Its also what my fork guard looks like after adjusting/bending it back with some pliers. Luckily it's aluminum. I can smooth the nicks with some fine sandpaper

I am really having a hard time trying to figure out if I should just install the body work. I think my OCD will only focus on the mismatch paint color on the tank covers. I waited 6 weeks for these to arrive and was real excited. I had watched YouTube vids and reviews of this body work and all was good.

That is horrible quality work. Looks like a textbook example of a "before" part......

Well what I did was order a factory tank cover in white. Should work well with the bodywork.

That is shotty as all get out. If you paid via credit card you can file a dispute and may stand a partial chance at getting your money back.

I have heard good things about Auctmarts fairing kits. If I were going to buy aftermarket, it is probably the only vendor I would try.

I paid through PayPal so I started a complaint to get my money back.

What was the response when you reached out? You should ask them how that squares up to the statement below on their website.

Also as @Fulton246 said I've heard mostly good things about Auctmarts. But the quality of aftermarket fairings seem to be very hit and miss. These are for your R3 right? If it's mainly a track bike I could live with the imperfections

Yes it’s for the R3 and no it’s not a dedicated track bike. When I reached out all they said was it was aftermarket and the paint won’t match factory colors. Which obviously doesn’t make sense because they painted the entire body work. Then they offered 15% refund which is about 88 dollars.
We will see what PayPal does. I could over look the damage, runs ect but the mismatch color on the tank cover is unacceptable.

Im looking at moto gmrs setups again.

neighbor said I could try his Cardo Packtalk if I wanted to. Kinda sad/mad that the Freecom 4+ only works sometimes.
