And I never had a front swaybar either, bet it'll feel even more stable than it already is.

Only if you go solid axle

Both my Tacoma and 4Runner rode nice and straight and handled very well, surprises me when people say their rig doesn't handle well but it's mainly due to neglect in replacing bushings, etc

I ran no sway bar on either the Taco or 4R

My steering wheel just feels too loose/light sometimes. Trust me all my bushings are good haha

Replaced the rack a couple years ago and used regular power steering fluid so that might have something to do with it. Pretty much anything under the truck has <20k on it.
I did want to to try tightening the rack guide but I can't break the outer nut loose because I can't find big enough wrench

I'm probably just preferring what my Golf has, and its a smaller steering wheel so less torque

Officially not sure, but it ain't much. Can't adjust it any more - I'd need those special LCAs

You need some UCS at least because you've got big wide tires and on the tacomas without a lot of caster it gives you a light floaty feeling with vague steering

They sell adjustable upper control arms. I have the SPC ones. They let me dial a ton of caster into my front end. But a lot of the other aftermarket uni-ball upper control arms build in an additional two degrees of caster as well so they would help too if you're not sold on the adjustable arms

Do they add the caster or do they maintain stock geometry just with extra travel

    The latter
This is not a cost-effective proposition for a problem personal preference that's related to steering stiffness

I think you'll find that a lot of stuff with truck suspension is pay to play. You could build arms yourself I'm sure but the time to test all the geometry and then to make jigs and the source parts would still have you coming out more expensive than just buying a set off the shelf that do what you're trying to achieve. They're cheap options but as you've already found out they come with their limitations. That company clearly didn't do any R&D to fix a common problem that every other arm on the market fixes and therein lies the discount

I'll be curious to see what you come up with. I'm still rocking the factory radiator so replacing it has been in the back of my mind lately lol
