If you haven't already done so, I'd suggest going by the Sumner Truck stop and weighing your truck empty, then with everything in it before going to Gitts. So you'll have an accurate number of what you need to haul.

If you haven't looked into them before, I'm a fan of Sumo spring overloads. They could be a cost effective way to add to your load capacity than replacing your springs packs.

 

Thanks. I used the scales at the manufacturer’s minerals. It’s an older scale that has to weigh truck and trailer separately. Then I took a jack stand and set it on an old scale I had to get a close approximation of the tongue weight. I will look into Sumner though. It looks like sumos replace the bump stops ??? Interesting concept certainly cheaper than airbags

 

Cheaper and more durable than airbags, they also have a lifetime warranty.

If your springs are truly worn out, I certainly recommend replacing them. Your overall ride will improve with springs made to your specific application. I've used Sumo's for about 8 years, but since getting my springs replaced by Alcan, I don't need Sumos for daily use, but I alternate with regular bumps for daily/offroad use and putting the Sumos in when I need to haul heavy loads like my tractor.

We're on hold for water level to come down ... no reports of "hot" fishing yet. Biologists were talking cold water temps slowing the run 'cuz lakes thawing late. Weird year ... we may go week after Whiskey Gulch trip next week. Might be late July or 1st week August even.

saw potato chips at Sheetz this morning,Ketchup flavor and Mustard flavor. thought about 50+ right off the bat. didnt have my phone to take pic. LOL

 

They have them at my wife's work. I was going to grab a couple as a novelty. Of all the things I've waisted money on I just can't seem to bring myself to do it (yet anyway).
