We literally don't know that. All I know is that more couldn't hurt, and again, it's that my steering wheel moves too easily, not that I'm wandering all over the road... It's like having stiff vs soft suspension. You can have soft, high quality suspension but that's not usually my preference

Yeah they kind of cop out on their website too. Just says they help fix caster, it provides no detail to what degree. Although I agree with you on the steering feel I prefer it pretty damn firm, but when I first lifted it was not firm enough.

Yeah...I have to believe Blake was confident in Dubois really wanting to play in LA to make that deal, given what everyone knows about him and his history bouncing from team to team. So hopefully it pays off

@treyus30 you could artificially tighten your steering by tightening down your steering rack guide bushing a little bit. I don't know what that would do to wear on it but it is designed to be a wear of surface anyway. Toyota has a pretty loose spec for it so if you went to the tight end of spec even that could make a big difference

Yea this has been factory, 230k + on it so I'm impressed with how well it's held up. Missus noticed it stank like coolant driving home yesterday and sure enough the top of the radiator is all pink speckley :(

But I guess it's the last coolant component, everything else has been changed

    M8 ...

M8x16mm for all holes except the lowest one in the vertical, I used M8x20 or 25 for that because the metal on the back side is a double sandwiched layer.

I bought a couple M6, M8, M10 assortment packs off of Amazon. Probably not the highest quality but it should save me some hardware store trips.

Buying a pack is way cheaper too though and you an still find grade 8 stuff

Carriage bolts for my skid were from Amazon, 18-8 which is basically a grade 5

    It's "strong enough"

Honestly they're my favorite tube style bumper for 1st gen Tacomas. I've been thinking about pulling my DIY one off for a TG one to improve my approach angle the lazy way :p

I had planned on ordering more 80 series stuff for my LC, but something is going on with Joey at Wit's End.

I've never had an issue, and I remember about 2 years ago @eon_blue and I ordered a seal driver within a day of each other; Ryan's order took much longer only to find out Joey's wife had surgery.

Now, Joey's been unresponsive and there are guys with over $6,500 out of pocket on turbo kits since 2020.

Surprisingly a few people did get their kit some 3 years later (missing their wastegate) but damn that sucks.

Hopefully the dude and his family is alright.

Other than the Cal Petersen contract he's done pretty well. And he rectified that.
