Have never stayed in an airbnb, probably never will. Work travels me enough I've got A list and companion pass on Southwest, Diamond with Hilton, and whatever the fuck Enterprise gives me. I dunno, I don't rent cars much unless I'm expensing it.

I never understood why people want to stay in somebody's income house where they have to do laundry when I can stay at the Hilton Garden Inn and there's a restaurant/bar on property and concierge service to go into town for dinner/nightlife.

its usually cheaper, or at least in our experience it was.

Wife had to do an out of state rotation when she was finishing up grad school and had to live in Texas for 3 months. Couldn't find an apartment willing to give a decent price and a hotel would have been really expensive. Best option was Air BnB which was located 2 minutes from the clinic she was working at. It was a couple renting out their 2nd floor to their home. Cant Lie it was weird living with randos, but they were cool and we became friends with them. They even left for a whole month and let the wife stay for free as long as she took care of the dogs.

People who pay for food stay at rentals. 2 weeks in Alhambra/Pasadena/Estes Park/Rome/Venice/Florence... $200 in groceries and cook at the rental or $100+ a day in cheap take out or $200+ for sit down meals for a family of three.

I've done many rentals. Only 1 bad one we had to outright refuse and received an immediate replacement.

I wonder how much of these usage drop statistics are skewed by a strong bump coming out of Covid… If usage went up 200% in one year and then dropped 50%. It's just right back to average.

Moab... Would you rather be in a cheesy hotel or a cabin with a view

    Frisco, NC... No hotels

    Ennis, MT... No hotels.

Yah I was just giving you shit. I end up in places lots of times where there's no Hilton. Happy to tent camp or just sleep in the back of the truck.

If you ever make your way to Cody, WY though, stay at the Irma Hotel. It's worth the price for the history alone.

Yes and so does Colorado. But I'm pretty sure Montana and Wyoming you can drive with an open container

My first time in Wyoming I noticed a drive-thru liquor store and stopped for a 12 pack. The dude rang me up and asked me if I wanted him to open one for the drive. Of course I said yes. lol

You still playing Diablo or you get bored and move on already?
I've been going really casual. Finally just got my rogue to about 70 and re-specced from knives over to bow
