Please say a Prayer for “Parker”

Been having the same problem! Also, I’ve been off TW for awhile, but all the prayer requests have been read and are being acted upon!

 

My Mom has eye surgery Wednesday and I'll be watching her till Friday! Glaucoma is the issue on both eyes but she is only getting left one done. Please pray for her! Blindness is a possibility!

Lord Jesus I speak peace into this situation. I ask that you guide the surgeons hand and allow recovery to happen quickly. Please Lord preserve her sight. In your name we pray. Amen

 

She is out of surgery already! Thank you for the Prayers and please continue to do so! Don’t forget to Pray continually for Pointeman (Mark) also with his eye recovery! Thank you fellow Brothers in Jesus The Christ!

I’m glad to hear and will continue to pray.

As for me it looks like I will be having another surgery. Another appointment in a month. If no changes…surgery scheduled. If improvement wait another month. If worsening…that’s the big question, but most like will need towait multiple months.

They did put me on a fancy machine that measures the amount of torsion that this disease has caused on my eyes. Torsion is what causes the double vision by stretching my eyes up or down. In my case my right eye sees an overlapping image that meets at the top but is 45 degrees off at the bottom. I was given two pictures. The left eye saw a lion and the right eyesaw a cage. I had to put the lion in the cage and have it sitting parallel to theground. When we finally got thingsadjusted I was able to see single vision for the first time in 5 years. My wife on theother hand got to see what my vision truly looks like…she wept.

Thank you for your continued prayers. I’m trusting in a mighty God who is incredibly faithful. To Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or imagine. According to the power that is at work in us. To Him be the glory in the church through Christ Jesus

You (and your wife) are in my prayers and I know so many other’s here prayers also… Your last paragraph summed it up beautifully. Stay strong and continue to trust in Him…

 

Say another Prayer for my Mom as you know she had eye surgery yesterday. She is supposed to take it easy. I watched her last night and am going to watch her today. She fell when I took her to the bathroom at midnight. I walked her there and she went in and closed door behind her and down she went. Need prayer that eye surgery didn’t get messed up! Also that she’ll be okay to live by herself for foreseeable future. Putting her in home would be bad and a death sentence. Hope to avoid doing that!

We are praying for you too Mark! I like to pray and reach out to touch the hem of Jesus’s garment with eyes closed and focused on that passage in The Bible. Also think on when The Lords shadow and the Disciples shadows passed over those that needed healing. May Jesus Christ Himself feel power leaving His body while you are praying for your healing.

Yes praying for sure! As you know I recently lost my Mom, and now I'm worried about how long my father can maintain independent living!

 

Well doctors appointment went well! She didn’t get one letter correct on eye chart but doctor said otherwise everything looked good. Hopefully she can avoid the merciless grip of gravity from now on and heal up completely. Thanks for Praying and please continue to do so for all of us who need healing!

 

Been a few days but my Mom seems to be doing pretty good. Not sure eyes are much better but she seems to be!

I cut the legs off of an old park bench yesterday, painted it and drilled holes to make it into a porch swing for her. She was happy about that and we sat out on it for a bit today.

Cost me $6 bucks and labor
$5 Garage Sale park bench a few years ago. Can of Rustoleum that oddly enough was bought at Yard Sale last weekend!

Just figured I'd check in and see how everyone is doing and ask for prayers for my sister who has been found to have breast cancer. It's small and was caught early, but does still require surgery which is not without risk.

Brian, @Tacomasaurus Rex, how are you doing and how's your Mom's recovery from her eye procedure, and Mark, @Pointeman, still praying for you too, are your eyes still improving?

 

I will be praying. My office assistant Rosa was just diagnosed so we can add her to the list. My eyes are making small changes up close. My distance vision is still impacted. But I am remaining hopeful. I appreciate you checking in and am thankful for this group. One way or another I will look forward to meeting you all…whether here or when standing in front of Jesus. Thank you.

 

Well we all need lots of prayers and to keep each other lifted up! I appreciate the prayers and will definitely keep praying for you all, adding Rosa too of course. I'm glad your eyes are making improvements, hang in there, it's got to be tough.

 

Parker wanted to say hello! She seems to be doing pretty good lately. She has her device that helps her walk upright but she doesn’t really like it much. Told daughter that it isn’t about what she likes but is about what is in her best interest. We are Praying that she’ll be able to run and play like children are meant to do one day soon.
