Good morning all. Little late to the party this morning, power outage over the weekend messed up our firewall at work and we just got internet back up and running.

Love the area. Did a spring trip to Youngsville and we were so impressed we are going back at the end of September.

Good morning all. Submitted my Iron Butt rides from the weekend of the 16th/17th on Saturday morning for verification. Had both rides approved by Sunday afternoon. Completed the memorial ride for my friend Allen covering just under 1,100 miles in 18 hours. Got a Bun Burner of 1,532 miles in under 36 hours. Allen's partner Mark was following along with my Spot track and texting encouragement periodically. This past weekend whiel waiting on the ride verification Mark and some of their friends were spreading Allen's ashes at a lake in Colorado.

Good morning. Trying to get to the gym early today, I have a couple of projects I want to start and one to finish. Tonight, it is a rack of Baby Back Ribs on the smoker.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Thanks for the scenery, guys! Beauty. Off to Discount Tire today for rotation and balance - finally. Didn't have enough miles to make them happy since new in January 22! And I did do one something. Fixed my little flag pole holder. Took long enough in the heat!
Was a block of 1x4, covered with velcro. Which gave up in the wind at COTA.
I'll use some nut-serts and some bolts with handles. Bolts too short. Sit and think....
I'll find some longer ones, make it offset, because no room for the handles. Don't have another clamp. Sit and think....
And it's hot. Must be time for .
I have a chunk of Delrin left over. And some feet from some shelves....mmmm....

And no monies were harmed during the process.

    Good Morning Porch Folks .
Heck of a storm passed through my area last night . 92,000 lost power but fortunately I didu't. Drying out today and looks like the sun is trying to poke through.

Beautiful pictures of the scenery @apreston1 . Thanks for posting

Thats a lot of miles Chuck. It wouldn't bother my Butt as much as my back riding that many miles. You friends are good folks taking Allens ashes to rest at a place Allen wanted. RIP Allen .

Have a good day all. and be dry.

Good morning fellow Porchatonians!! Hoping to get a day or two without thunderstorms so I can get the grass cut. Had to waste water out of the pool twice this week to keep it from overflowing.

Yes Sir, as @Cwopinger said recently, "Fickle Witch is on a bender this Summer."
Hope you catch a window to cut in.

I was just looking at weather next week for our annual Whiskey Gulch halibut fishing trip ... it isn't looking good. :( Poor Yoshi might hafta stay home. Camping with a wet dog, especially one that wants to share my space as much as possible, can get ... awkward for lack of a better word. ;)

Have a great day, Colonel. :)

Good morning. Yesterday weas a busy one and today will be the same. Off to the gym extra early then over to the food bank to drop off some harvested beets, back home for a shower then off to music lessons. Smoking a chicken for dinner tonight and hopefully take care of two lighting projects.

I want to add a third Nest outdoor cam to the home and I found one on eBay for a decent price. Sellers add said what you see in the pictures is what you get and I did not see the power half of the cord, the small clip to connect the camera half of the cord to the power cord or the magnetic mounting bracket an the magnet. I sent the seller a message about the parts and if they were included and the response was, "did you read the description"? No sale for me.

Rob111, I get what you say about *social media" for me I like this thread and the meme thread on TW other than that I'm not a Facebook guy. Joined it years ago to keep up with my high school class but don't spend much time on it. Most of the stuff on it keeps me away. This is about all the social media I get. I have gotten more useful information from TW than anything else.

I've tried FB twice ... deleted acct both times; there won't be a third ... TW is my only social media. And I take a hiatus from it on occasion.
    Have a great day! :fistbump:
