I replaced my rear shocks and spring bushings this past weekend while waiting for my new coils to come in. Wow! I can tell a big difference already. Look what Santa brought home in his truck today. Going to have fun this weekend.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Didn't really do it today per say but my new pioneer is really growing on me. At first it was kind of a bitch to figure out but now I can fine tune every song to sound as good as it will get with just a head unit

Sweet! I need to get my truck in the dirt soon. I think I passed you coming out of Sacramento not too long ago. I was heading back from snowboarding and noticed how big of tires you had on such a small lift :D

Installed an OME lift kit with 883 coils. Took 2 days, bolts were a pain in the @$$ to get out, and needed to get U-bolts made:

Extremely happy with the look and ride quality. Finally rides like a truck!! Now just need to get some larger tires come summer time.

Just a higher spring rate over the 881s. Mine ride "like a truck" on the roads but are freakin sweet in the dirt. I also went against ome and run billies

Also not many people put them on 1st gens and some people even believe them to be a coil for 2nd gens. I only know 3 people who use the 883s on TW

You also do not need the top plate spacers to get the full 2.5-3" of lift with the 883 coils (considering you do not have the 100 lbs of additional bumper weight)

I've seen lights mounted like that on a lot of jeeps but never a taco. What type of brackets did you use? Is there any interference with the door when you open it?
