I turned 33 on Sunday.

It's going legal in Maryland July 1st. Gonna be interesting to see what shops pop up. The parking lot at work already smells like Woodstock, probably going to get waaaay worse

Not trying to relive my life from 10-25 that is for damn sure
$50Mil gets me 10 acres, house, big fat garage + a few toys - far, far away from people

 

See, I’d lean the other way. What would I strive for if I had everything. Naw, I’d prefer the journey rather than the destination even if it would be all the same.

But see I would work being a good gardener, getting good at raising small livestock [chickens, goats] and butchering/processing them, raising some hunting dogs, working on my imaginary Miata track toy, maybe opening a small bakery - lots of things become options when you don't have to sweat paying the rent/mortgage anymore..

I also want a place to be able to retreat to, be safe and watch the world burn when that finally happens
