If you guys would read Maby you would see that if you unplug the seat belt sensor under the seats you would know that's how you turn everything off

AKTACO - This sounds to me like the best approach, as it not only stops the annoying beeping, but also stops the annoying flashing dash lights.
AKTACO - can you tell us if the wire connectors were easily accessable, without removing the seats? Did you have to pull up any carpeting? I may go out and take a look today, but, of course our warm spell has now passed and it is pretty cold outside with a 30mph wind...

I will see if I can get some pics. But its pretty easy and you don't have to take out the seats or carpet.you will need something like a flat head screw driver or something pointy to press the little release on the clip.

I looked under my passenger seat, and there were no less than 6 connectors down there - 5 of them lined up across the front bar, and at least one more towrds the back. I unplugged 1, that I thought it might be up front, and the air bag light just stayed on -so, wrong one.
Then I just grabbed a couple of large key rings, and bent them into a figure 8 patern and formed one of each of the loops into a long, oval shape, with a torch and some pliers, and snapped them into the belt receiver - viola!- no beeper, no flashing lights. Done.

I just spent around 15 and a half seconds doing it on my 2011 and it worked. Beats the hell out of unplugging shit and cramming metal in my clips.

I would also like to know what exact wire was unplugged under the steering column, especially if it also stops the key left in the ignition beep also.
I have tried the original trick in this thread many times, it "works" but does not stop it from beeping 5 times every time I start the truck up.
(yes I wear my seat belt, I just like to start the truck before I have it on)

    Non yet
Just did my 2011. It worked but with one minor change in the directions. I still get the five initial beeps and a blinking icon:

    1) Turn the Car 'ON', but do not start the engine (Leave your foot off the brake). Cycle your trip reset knob until it reads ODO. The odometer never cycled, so I just pressed the reset knob and followed directions. Turn the ignition back off. Wait a couple of seconds.

    2) Make sure seat belt is not fastened
    3) Turn the ignition back on, do not start the car (Leave you foot off the break) As soon as you see everything light up, press and hold the trip reset knob and do a long 12 second count.
    4) Keep your finger on the trip reset knob. Fasten your seat belt, as soon as you fasten your seat belt, you should see the ODO display go from XXXX miles to "b-on". At that time take your finger off the trip reset knob and press it again. It should cycle to "b-off". You should be all set and turn the ignition off and unfasten your seat belt.

Does not work on 2010. Followed instructions exactly several times and no go. Never reaches the point where 'see the ODO display go from XXXX miles to "b-on".' ...Fail!

I have a 2010 and I just did this 2 days ago and it worked for me just fine. Hold the odo reset for at least 12 to 15 seconds. Then fasten the seatbelt and thats when the odometer goes from XXXX to "b-on". Then release and push again to select "b-off". Then just shut it down and unbuckle.

I finally got it to work but only after holding down the knob for 30+ seconds, not the 15-20 I tried previously. Some vehicles are just different I guess.

Work's great, except I did more of a 10 second count, the 12 second long count didn't really work for some reason
