Yea, a lot of people will say you domt.need the drop kit, and your axles will be.fine, but id imagine with the angle change it probably adds premature wear

3 months ago I went back and forth with Michael Coulombe through email. You were CC'd in the emails. I was hoping that you guys could check out the truck while I waited instead of leaving it there for a few days.
I am 20 miles away and am open to taking a day off of work to make this happen. Thank you.

That's what they did with mine when they inspected it. If you do wait, be prepared to wait a few hours so bring something to watch movies, something to listen to music or a book.

I’m a long time lurker, first time poster and all that but I just wanted to report on a my experience with these coilovers and shocks. I installed them last week using the stock UCA’s and a 1” block in the rear and I have to say they may be the best performing suspension upgrade I’ve done on any Tacoma. I’ve owned all 3 generations and most recently ran 5100’s on an 07 and 11 TRD off-road.

I hope I don’t develop this clunking issue but so far so good. I hope those of you who are experiencing it get it sorted out.

Was sold on buying the stage 2.0R setup for my 2020 until I just read ~20 pages of endless clunking stories. Looks like 5100's for me

At the price of the 2.0R I’d probably go for 6112/5160s

That's my preference, but I believe the 5100's fit me best. I don't have any added weight upfront and I've heard 6112's can be very stiff on stock weight.

I love my stage 2 kit. Rides great. I threw on the reservoir rear shocks today(they didn’t offer them when I bought my kit). I have my eibach pro truck rear shocks on the classifieds here if anyone needs them. Barely used and are like new.

Ive had mine for a few hundred miles and haven't have any clunking at all, no issues on or off road. My truck is still pretty new with only 3400 miles on it so all my other components are all new as well. I wondered if those who had clunking may have the clunking coming from some other part of the suspension. So many factors other than just the coilovers that could be the culprit

I’ve now run mine for about 500- 600 miles mostly on road but maybe 100 miles off road and I have to say I’m a big fan. I intentionally hit speed bumps too hard to see if anything shook loose and so far GTG.

ETA- “off road” means my 1 mile terrible slag driveway and some logging trails in NW SC/NC. Nothing technical.

I had a stage 2 Pro-Truck coilover set installed on my truck for 7500 miles without any issues. Most of these mileages were on road and around couple hundred miles on dirt & sand trail, wash road and hadn't experienced any noises or clunking at all. Just took it off and trade the truck in for a Pro so no longer need it but will keep it as a spare. Anyone needs a good used set let me know.
