2nd gen 2010-2011 headlight change?

So I went from a 2010 sport to a 2011 tx pro. It seems like the center yellow lights that act as DRLs became slightly smaller and are now slightly curved? I thought I noticed this in 2011's before I even bought mine, but I'm still not able to tell if I'm imagining it or not.

The other day I saw a truck on the freeway with a 2010 grill, but the DRLs looked like the new shape which really threw me off. Is it like the dash gauges change where they just started the new ones on a certain date and not by model year?

OR

Am I just going crazy???


*Side note, my new dash is black on the upper half, pretty much from above the glove box up. Is this a year change or a model change (sport to OR)?

 

I just reread my post. I notice the smallest most inconsequential things which is probably strange to most readers of the post.

 

Good catch on the headlights, I honestlhy didn't notice that change. I hope they didn't tweak the outer shape of the headlights or grille, because I've got a pair of BHLM headlights and a beautiful Satoshi grille just waiting for my 2011 regular cab to come in next week.

 

I think I am just a little off my rocker. I took the closest pictures I had of my new and old trucks (I had to flip one). I don't see a difference here...

Yeah, I love the rims, the rest is pretty much the same, just a switch from a sport to an OR.
