Although it has happened in the past where a "regular" Joe has been brought in during an emergency, but he was still minor pro level...not lower beer/rec league level lol.

plus I'm already over the average retirement age of NHL goalies, not many play beyond their mid 30s

Since it's a franchise business YMMV but I think they charge the same regardless of color for solids. They should have a color sample book with hundreds if not more that their supplier carries so it might be worth a stop in to see what's available. I imagine they might upcharge for metallics tho

They only have Eric Portillo in Ontario, Matt Vallalta is not getting a qualified offer. You may need to hear up!

I hope Copley gets the #1. Colorado and Vegas both won cups without elite goalies.

When I was a kid my parents sent me to a goalie camp in St. Paul, MN a couple summers in a row and we'd have to do pad stack drills constantly

But the pad stack move has gone the way of the dodo in today's faster game, leaves you too vulnerable.

Most the time the goalie would just slide out of the crease.

yeah we'd have to do those pad stack poke checks that you used to see the stand up goalies from the early 90s do a lot....player comes toward the net from the bottom of the circle and you basically lunge out at them with your stick while stacking the pads to take away the lower portion of the net, and pray you don't fuck it up lol. Definitely not something you see anymore

today its all basically hybrid butterfly style, I get a kick out of hearing old timers talk about how much "better" goalies in the 80s were when they would stand 0 chance in today's NHL, with how much faster and more accurate the players are

I dunno, in 90s baseball basically every all star was juicing big time...put them (and their steroids) in today's baseball they'd probably dominate

I don't watch or follow baseball at all so I am probably wrong on this, I just know steroids were rampant in MLB back then before they cracked down

See I've only ever used an electronic locker, so to not hear or feel anything.... you just knew it was already engaged when you easily walk the obstacles you're going over

I was just telling Zane just how ridiculous it was with the Land Cruiser earlier today.

You just point and go where other people struggle.

What do you think I want a pickup now?

Single cab wheeler, something just dedicated for the trail.
