What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Was doing an oil change a month ago and noticed oil/grease on the bottom of both tie rod boots. Cleaned everything up really good and checked again last week - still leaking (pretty small, tho). Brought it in and they are replacing the steering rack/gear, both outer tie rod ends, fluid flush and alignment. All covered under my extended warranty which expires in 8 months (easily paid for itself x2). Stock suspension and no real hard wheeling. 38,000 on the clock.

Up next is Icon RXT leaf packs to swap out the rear lift blocks.

Is the engine salvageable?

 

Make a good amount selling the stuff, just gotta take it off. Fenders, bumper, grill, heck even the antenna for someone who wants to do a mod for their roof rack.

 

I've finally got in the MESO doorhandles, so now I've got an almost entirely blacked out interior, aside from the Toyota badge on the steering wheel

 

If your truck isn’t that dirty but you want that cleaner feel just do your wheels and nothing else…

The center caps on the wheels come in handy, if you stay with the TRDs. They are $58 a piece at the dealer.

It was upside down very briefly during the crash, but it's probably okay. Only had a little over 35k on it.

3 outta 4 is not bad.

 

Went ham on leds from Diode Dynamics. Changed the all the interior lights to cool white. And did the rear turn signals, brake lights, and reverse lights. Also swapped the side mirror signals with sequential smoked ones.
