My window sticker for my '20 almost optioned out. It was during the period of "you pay MSRP or we sell it in the next hour" going into the pandemic when vehicles were getting in short supply. I really wanted quicksand and it had a long bed, so I bought it. I did get them to knock off the BS nitrogen filled tires nonsense.

That appears to be the new, unblemished version of the truck I just picked up a few weeks ago for ~10k in Canukstan dollars. I'm a fan, not necessarily a 40k+ fan though, although... hmm. o_O

Toyota techs have no idea what the 2.7 engine looks like because its incredibly rare they have to open it up. (Poor grammar transposed from original comment)

Toyota technician: "Hmmm. An engine. I haven't seen one of these odd fellas before. What, per chance, might lay underneath should I be so bold as to take the bolts off the top?" "This 780 page manual to refer to? No need, this here is magic. It will require nothing but my skills and wit as an expert in identifying new forms of mechanical propulsion!"

Ha! I was literally going to say the same thing! One of my favorites growing up as well!
Back in the day when you were limited to watching only the small collection of VHS movies you owned over and over or you had to go to Blockbuster and rent them!
I sort of miss those days, going to the movie store with my lady to find something to watch for the evening. And music stores..... Hanging out, flipping through tapes and CD's hoping to find what you were looking for!

"How the west was fun" Olsen twins movie
"Shipwrecked" copied from TV to a VHS
"Treasure Island" The one with Charlton Heston and a young Christian Bale (seriously, if you guys haven't seen this, it's awesome) copied from Tv onto a VHS
And then like the 10 disney movies we owned.

I grew up rural, I watched the same dozen or so movies for yearrrrs. We never had cable TV either. That was a treat when we went to visit grandma.

On the plus side, I learned how to run a chainsaw at a very young age lol

Bet I've owned more Toyota than most on here....

Tacoma: 3 first gens, 2 second gens

    Several 4 runners, Toyota cars, and a 1985 x cab 4x4.

You can always apply to be on staff.
