O-3 CPT, Army. There are a lot of guys in my course that rock Taco's. Most popular truck among the Airborne Ranger, and for good reason. I guess its because its the only truck you see when you go overseas, Toyota Hilux.

Civil service for the Defense Contract Management Agency...Safety Engineer GS-13 (roughly the same as an O-4) with 25 years in...We support the War Fighter.

Every gun, bullet, bomb, rocket, missile, motor, flare, mine, flash bang made outside a Army Ammunition Plant has manufacturing oversite provided by my small group of dedicated professionals. (yes, that includes munitions for all five services, including Coast Guard).

I wear out more GOVs than most folks wear out combat boots.

You will find our personal vehicles (like my taco) gathering dust outside a base, office, airport, flight line while we roam the world inspecting, certifying, checking and stamping untold billions of dollars worth of materiel.

    WE SUPPORT THE WARFIGHTER

not exactly...supply and procurement are two different animals. My job is to make sure the process of making the materiel is safe...

Nothing wrong with working on rotary wing military aircraft, it is a good, steady job.

I have lost track of my PCS moves...but my three kids were born in three different states and I have one motorcycle I have titled in Texas three different times...

Evil Monkey, you were an AE2 in San Diego?
I've been here most of my career and was an AT before I commissioned. We probably worked together at some point in time.

I was at Miramar from 1982-1989. I was a TD (Tradevman) for 3 years working on Flight Simulators at FASO when I was active navy and I was an active reserve for 4 years with VF-302 as an AE (Down by the E2 Hawkeye hanger).
