im not sure if they are the same size. I’d have to do some parts checking. Maybe @TMFF knkws id the 1st gen and 2nd gen lower front shock bolts (to the LCA) are the same diameter and length…
I can order today and hope it arrives in time.
did they ship yet? If now, maybe you can add to the order…

The bolts will install on your truck, Tacoma used the same bolt specs till 2023 trucks. I think the 1st gen bolts don't have the neck down like the 2nd/3rd gen trucks, pull one and see. But I bet your LCA bushings are in need of replacement. I have lower coilover bolts in stock if you need some.

I was going to reach out to you via text... I still haven't installed the Eibach/King set up you built for me..... three years ago :anonymous:

I also snagged a pair of OEM LCAs which I'm going to replace the bushings on and then install those when I do the UCAs (you provided) and the Eibach/King coil overs you built for me.

I'll hit you up for these lower coil over bolts and some other questions if you don't mind.

sweet, I’m glad I asked. Maybe I’ll swing by sometime to catch up and grab a few sets to TW Express…

that’s a good reminder… when’s the mid day to get your suspension installed? I can bring up a pair of the bolts/nuts if you want them.

Well my truck is successfully in the garage… don’t mind the fact I need to put it in 4WD and add rocks to climb over to get into the garage…

but I should have the space cleaned out enough to work on the truck.

Just need to get rear leaf springs.

So long as you drive straight. I'd imagine a cruise ship has a better turning radius than that thing.

Morning rant. Absolutely baffles me how many people ride a street bike, but do not know how to ride a street bike - specifically in/with traffic.

Chaos weekend is coming up. Summer is finally here. Construction and people everywhere again. Assume no one sees you, ride defensively, and stay safe out there.

@Kappes03 - Thank you for the tip. However, last I checked Colorado Springs is no where near Winter Park.

I spent a good portion of the yesterday in WP troubleshooting the issue P0305. Driving to Granby for spark plugs. Changing out old for new spark plugs. Cleared codes. Started LC. But no luck same code. Moved the faulty IGN coil pack from firing cylinder 5 to 3. Cleared codes. Started LC and new code P0303. Appears the fix is more expensive than spark plugs - faulty Ignition Coil Pack. Just ordered $1K for eight ignition coil packs. Good thing the LC is parked where it should not be towed.

Still pondering having the LC flat bedded back to Evergreen. Not recommended to drive the LC due to possible catastrophic failure of Catalytic Converter or Cylinder with misfire or other possible Engine damage.

Stay Tuned - More to Come.

How many miles are on the truck? Replacing all coil packs is spendy when you probably just need to replace one.

I was chasing down a misfire on my 2003 Tacoma and there was one aftermarket coil pack that I thought was the culprit, so I replaced just that one with an OEM one. That was at 165k. I sold the truck with 225k miles and it the 5 original coil packs were just fine.

The coil packs are original to the 03 LC with 238K miles on the odometer. If I were an optimist I would just change one and take the chance driving back to EVGN and then replace the other seven. But with my luck another Coil Pack will fail on the drive back.
