Good morning friends

 

Young whippersnapper...... that's damn well close enough to come hang out with us broken down old folks

 

For me, it was 40. 6 months after I hit 40, I ended up in the hospital with my spinal tumor and paralysis for a week until tumor was diagnosed and removed by surgeons. Few years later, another spinal surgery/fusion to alleviate sciatica, then a hip surgery for osteoarthritis, just found out I have osteoarthritis in my left knee..... I just hit 56 a couple months ago. Those last 16 years have been a hell of a blur. But, I'm still here, and I can walk/get around reasonably well, so every day is a gift to be enjoyed

 

Psssst...... diesels don't have spark plugs

Just got a tex from my son. Jax ate a whole bowl of his wet dog food and scrambled eggs. 1st complete meal he has had in a week and half. Thanks for asking

Good Morning cooking up a pot of turnip greens from the garden,then yard work.

I think that's one of.the few "greens" I've never had...even with all the chow halls I've been in and they're pretty diverse with the types of food they serve.

You are not much of a morning person are you?

 

They taste like most other greens,maybe a little peppery taste.raw they taste like a radish. i just seed the row and when greens are big enough pull up every other plant to thin the row,so get greens and then turnips from the thinned row.

 

i def have some miles on me...this is pretty much me..

 

I like a good Raw turnip!!
