Where all is it rubbing? Looks good, did you have uppers with added caster?

 

same here… bought them about 4 months ago and I am patiently waiting to get the most of my oem tires… every time I see them on my shed I feel like I am being seen by a sexy haha…

 

Those wheels slap. I had Ray10’s and hated the fake beadlock.

 

Rubbing at the Cab Mount. Already had an appointment made prior to the lift and tire install. Unfortunately, I’m not able to get in until near the end of July. Just have to be midful of my driving. Also a little plastic rubbing on the inner fender plastic. Did some minor heat moulding and trimming for now until after the CMC to determine how much more I need to do in the garage. As for UCA I installed the Icon tubular uppers. Honestly not sure of what true difference they have from the factory. If anybody knows, please chime in.

Got the 285/70r17’s in SL mounted on RRW 6h wheels 0 offset. Only rubs a tiny bit on front fender driver side on full lock reverse. I’ll be cutting soon. Rides good overall quieter than my half worn out 265/75r16 c load cooper at3. I’ll be doing another review after a few months

 

How close does it look to your cab mount? Hoping for the same setup on the same wheels, but mine are -12 offset.

 

I have very minor rubbing on driver side cab mount. May just have to cut half an inch off. With more offset you will prolly rub.

 

More pics, I’m terrible at taking them. So far I have noticed they are a little noisy on the highway but not much. For an SL these are super aggressive.

 

What tire pressure are you guys running on 265 75 r16 ?

I finally installed mine a week ago and been playing with chalk and I believe I am still over inflated by a bit with 31 cold that goes up to 34 when hot. But under 31 seems too low.. but when I do chalk test hot at 34 the rear edges of tire come up full of chalk.. nothing gets erased… upfront it seems on… don’t want to eat the shoulders but on back it seems over inflated…

 

still looks like it is over inflated at 32psi hot on tear tires…



Any info it is greatly appreciated..

32hot is around 29 cold… it seems low to me but chalk test says otherwise…

standard load tire… NOT LT

 

27 cold on 265/75/16/116 for me.

 

same tire. I guess I’ll continue to air down tomorrow..

Modified my rekgens to fit. Driving update, I was off about 4-5mph so I installed rough country’s speedo recalibration device and checked with radar to be within 1. I get about 20 MPG keeping at 70 with no hills and about 18.5 doing 75 on the interstate. Not a big drop from my cooper at3. Glad I went with the Sl 285/70’s. I also have sliders, skids, bumper and winch so I’m sure they don’t help the mpg much either.

 

I am looking to get the Baja Boss A/T as my next set, going from wildpeaks. has anyone made the same change? I am only curious about how much of an effect there will be on fuel mileage

Both are/will be P rated both 265/75/16

Anything will be an upgrade in MPGs from those heavy ass Wildpeaks!! The weight even in SL form was the one thing I hated about the Wildpeaks
