I used the "permanent" adhesive tape that comes with the lightstrip. One ziptie to make sure it stays away from the spare tire access hole. Not too weird looking went lit up and functions great.

I was nervous too & it took me about 30 mins for one side! Used the heat gun to peel it off. I got the adhesive off as best as I could. Gonna do the other side tonight.

Spray a little Goo Gone on a microfiber to remove adhesive.

Picked up a set of RC Ditch lights brand new from a buddy of mine who owed me some $$$, Complete with brackets and wiring harness. What should have taken at most an hour to install them took about 2 due to a stubborn hood bolt that did not want to go back in. 3" wide angle OSRAM 13,500L. Also picked up a OEM switch from Cali Raised LED and put it in the blank spot shown in the 3rd Picture. Pretty happy with the install except I need to go back in and change out the wiring connectors, that should only take a few minutes to do. Next on the list is a roof rack.

Yea, I used black 1" Velcro, clean paint with alcohol wipe, let dry and attach. I believe you'll be happy.

Hard to tell for sure from the photo - but make sure they are aimed at the DITCHES and not straight down the hood.

Use them on a dark night in the wilderness when you have to turn off from where your headlights are illuminating, so you know what you're turning into. (Pointed down the hood would be worthless since your headlights already have that area lit up.)

Did you do the install by yourself? I need to get mine installed but wondering about the hood hinge part and holding the hood still while bolting on the bracket?

I installed my RCI ditch brackets and lights. Bolting the hood back down with the bracket was pretty easy in my case and I did it by myself.

Thanks, I did some youtube research because I was having a mental block. Turns out you can do one bolt at a time, thus, not needing a second pair of hands. I'm stupid lol. I was thinking unbolt both hinge bolts, otherwise the bracket would not go on... free laugh for the day.

Not trying to open up a debate whether these tb spacers work or not. I've seen about all I can of that. Seen enough to decide you just have to try it out for yourself.
