I think it's pretty cool when other Tacomas park near each other

DC’s were made from 04-06. My guess is that’s an 04. 05’s and 06’s saw subtle cosmetic changes.

My wife parks her 4Runner near other 4Runner or Tacoma. I always park my Tacoma next to others that are parked far away in the parking lots.

Mine (left) and another unidentified dood on the right.

And then at home, I’m always parked next to another Yota! (always three others, actually, but this is the only cool one.)

At the dentist for my 6-month cleaning this week Tuesday and parked next to this guy.

I came home from work, and found this parked in front of my house; I thought my parents were getting an estimate for work on the house, but they weren't, so it must be one of my neighbors...

Both of my Tacomas. When this photo was taken, my friend was giving the 2nd gen a test drive - didn’t want to sell it but he needed a truck. Just bought it back, almost exactly 1 year later.

Great having two! Good to have a backup/spare vehicle. My 2nd gen is my primary truck!

I live alone in the mtns, having a spare vehicle is damn near necessary. Was not an easy winter either!

That sounds like a paradise to me! My first winter with a Tacoma last season was an easy one, I think I only put it in 4WD once.

Id guess 30-40% of my normal mileage is in 4HI, but I’ve got a heavy ass 3rd gen build. I’ll likely be able to manage the 2nd gen in 2WD most of the time. Both are manual transmissions so that’s a big plus up here.

Double plus! My backup truck, a 2002 Silverado recently needed a new fuel pump. I replaced it the 'redneck' way, by cutting a hole in the bed. If that ever happened with the Tacoma I wouldn't do that. Being a 6' bed it seems it would be terribly hard to remove it.

I am presently at a special show called "Rebels and Redcoats" (at Washington Crossing Park) with my girlfriend, and Toyotas are very well-represented! In this lot alone we've got my truck, another 2nd Gen Taco, two 3rd Gen Tacos, an FJ Cruiser, and a 5th Gen T4R, plus a 4th Gen T4R parked on the grass...

Here's one I can post here...happened to be the Delaware Meet on June 24th.

    Seven showed up early...

We ended up having 12 Taco in a line mixed in with other brands.
