Mostly stock, just getting it to my liking, just happy to have had the taco and now my 4Runner.
Those look amazing, comfortable and supportive at the same go.

Today I installed ajt temp control knobs, swapped my trd branded marbled purple shifter knob for ajt billet shifter knob that got my shifter low like I been wanting, and someone here recommended new Bosch wiper blades to cure the noises so it’s gonna get tested to see how it goes, so far smooth like butter, so here’s hoping.

I do something similar except that I bought cheap paper air and cabin filters to use for a day or 2 when I clean my Airaid air filter and K&N cabin filter. As little as they get used I figure they'll last forever unless I accidentally tear one of them.

Here's how she sits today! I'm in Vermont so the frame's been treated before I drove it off the lot & crc'd by Toyota in 2018. It's been a great truck!

Gave her a quick wash. Nothing fancy as the weather is weird here in VA.

I was trying to figure out why your wheels look better than mine. I think it's the lift. Your tires look a little bigger too. Mine are stock 265/70 and I only did 3rd gen coils and struts up front.20230412_195117.jpg

Lol yeah I have 5100's Highest clip up front. Add a leaf in the rear. 285/70R17's but I'm battling axle wrap right now. I have leafs from a 3rd gen with 35k miles. So not quite sure what's causing it but it's extremely annoying.

Hard to shake axle wrap. My rear springs are new from recall. Same as 3rd gen. Still get some wrapping. Years ago my 4 banger 1st gen was so bad I thought about adding ladder bars. Just a design flaw.

Lord. Idk if I can deal with it permanently lol. Pulling her in the garage tomorrow and probably going to recheck everything. UCA bolts, got some new U-bolts coming and then I may take the drive shaft out for the 3rd time to check the yokes. Already did CB and all U-joints. Almost as bad as dealing with pinion angles lol. Mine isn't 100% free from drive shaft vibes but pretty dang close.

I say its the design but I had over a dozen full size Fords in my life, 1977-2014 models, with same leaf over axle design, and never had axle wrap in a Ford. Mine isn't real bad. Seems like it is worse if at a stop light several minutes and then take off. In my 1st gen I could feel wrapping when coming to a stop as well as taking off from a dead stop. The only thing I can think that is different between the Ford and Toyota was the offset rear shocks. One inboard and the other side outboard. My V8 Fords had a ton more torque than the Toyota so not sure. I nearly always throw my Tacoma in neutral when stopped for lights and in drive thru lines to minimize the wrap. Natural reaction now.
