No neighbors is the dream!

 

So, I took my truck to dump at one of our companies sites and radiation was detected in the load so I had to leave it there. I’m not sure for how long though

Most times it's so quiet here it's like having no neighbors at all

We have a little group of maybe 20 houses here on the mountainside.
Originally, it was a hunting camp for rich fellers from Philly and Bawlmer, circa 1900...
... complete with small lodges made of chestnut logs.
At least 4 of them remaining that I know of, including ours.
(A few have siding on them now, so it's hard to tell).

In 1923, the lodges were sold off as private residences.

Here's the weird thing:
In the deed is a covenant to exclude certain people.
Totally illegal now, of course, but apparently never challenged and never changed.
