I would've cried. Water heaters are cheap here. That's something I can install myself.

@SRH don't forget to clean that water heater every six months.

 

I don’t do heating/cooling (aside from running the trunks, that I can do) or plumbing….. hubbs never wanted to deal with that mess so he purposely didn’t learn it which meant he didn’t teach me how to do it. I was ok with it!!

 

I do like it hot!!

Was for the infloor heating for basement floor and install.

You’re assuming I follow direction

 

1. Turn off the breaker or pilot light.
2. Attach hose to the spigot at the bottom of heater.
3. Run hose to the street.
4. Turn off water at the main.
5. Open ball valve to drain water.
6. Sporadically Turn water back on to stir up sediment to further drain. Do this multiple times.
7. Turn ball valve back to closed position.
8. Turn water main back on.
9. 30 minutes later throw breaker back on or re-ignite pilot lite.

 

I made the directions super simple.

 

You’d sure think I could get this right…..


Seriously, seems doable.
