Not sure about @5nahalf but I'll have trailer brakes.

I had trailer brakes on mine, I had to dial back the braking power though as I was smoking the trailers drums going down the mountains.

I have the same issue. My 2021 DCSB shows 265 to empty, but my 2017 SR5 4x2 would show 365 to empty when full . Is the 4x4 OR different?

Drove 500 miles today on day 1 of a 1600+ mile voyage from Dallas to Boise, Idaho. Moving is such fun….NOT
Loaded it down pretty heavy and averaged around 18 mpg. Pretty sure I did better pre-tune (KDMAX) the last time we did this type of trip but there was also a lot of head winds today. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

My 2016 Sport rwd was always great on gas, though low on power, and 90% of the time it showed 416 miles to go after a fill up. Every once in a while it showed 385 to go. On trips, including from the east coast to the Blue Ridge mountains, I consistently got 23 to 25 mpg. Never had a tune.

I was thinking the same thing or using aluminum. Take off the OEM panel use it as a template and cut it/drill it.

These engines cut fuel to the cylinders if you coast down hill in an automatic, the trans takes over. You can really increase your economy by rolling as much as possible without popping it in neutral.

That’s pretty good. I only average 15-17stcock (roughly 270) till empty. So do you find these trucks run more efficiently on 91 octane? And what scoop are you referencing that you cut off?

Isn’t that about average though? I consistently see 250-270 per tank.

OMG it's truck everyone! The gas milage is what it is. If you add more wight or lift it you will get worse milage. If you drive faster the milage will go down. If you accelerate hard and brake hard the milage will go down. Let's talk about something useful like a cool custom mod you made or an idea you have. Show us a mount you made for your propane tank or a way to store some gear in a unique way.
