72° is comfy? If I set my AC that cold, I would be miserable all day at work.

But, I definitely agree about circulating air. A little breeze can help a lot when it's hot!

If I could afford it I'd have a house set at 68 lol

That being said, I spent the previous 9 years doing asphalt and concrete out in the heat, so that doesn't bother me too much.... It's the breathing of the air soup that hurts lol

Making our way back from Vermont today.
I grew up about 45 miles from this bridge and my wife had never been across it so we detoured to get a couple pictures while we there.

I think it’s the only automobile floating bridge east of the Mississippi .

Been gone ten days and have put around 1800 miles so far.
Left to head back home this morning around 08:30,made it to Port Huron Mi tonight ,about 570 miles with two dogs in the backseat, it took around 11 hours of windshield time.

The smoke was horrible all through New York with about 3/4 of a mile visibility till we got across the border into Canada, then it cleared up as we passed just west of Niagara Falls.
It was pretty clear here in Port Huron.

If I set my central air to 72 it would never shut off and my nipples would be to cut glass.

It seems to me that the colder it is in the house, the more miserable I am outside. I've barely used the AC this summer, and the heat isn't really bothering me at all. :notsure:

That's what I'm here for, the mods and the gear.
Grab a dehumidifier, works wonders for the AC. Take the humidity out of the air, and your thermostat can be set at 78 and still be comfy.

Ha! I set it at 64. Drives the wife nuts when she comes home. She leaves it at 64 all winter, so I speculate that it should correlate with summer...

I keep the thermostat around 60-65 in winter. But, not a fan of freezing all summer.

I believe it makes more sense to keep it cooler in the winter, and warmer in the summer, so you are not experiencing as much of a temperature differential every time you walk outside.

I suppose I should have thought of that. Does it even hit 70° up there ever? :D

The first house we bought was pretty old and didn’t have AC, with our room being on the second level it got extremely hot, plus the window screens had holes in them so I didn’t want to open them with a fear of some spider hatching eggs in my ear at night. We just bought our current house that we live in now under a year ago and having AC “to me” is a game changer.

Discount Tire definitely lived up to their name today. Ordered these on Saturday and they were in on Monday. They were willing to install that same day but I had to wait for the Apex valves.

They took a couple minutes to look at the valves when I got there today and got right to it. Still checked in with me to make sure it was ok to cut the valve part of the TPMS as Apex instructs.

Estimated about an hour and ended up staying open another half hour just to finish them for me without any complaints. They were almost as excited as I was to get them on.

Stopped halfway home to play with the valves some more. Holy shit are they fast.

No rubbing yet, but I'm more than likely going to take off the front mud flaps. Second picture is on an incline backing into the garage. Maybe the rear mud flaps are coming off too.

Ended up getting a full size spare and tire certificates too. Just in case.

When you put the spare back under the truck do it with the valve stem pointing down so you can check psi easyer.

Careful posting about mudflaps, @Thatbassguy might voluntarily remove the last one he has left.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I would be surprised if you have rubbing with that size tire. I know it's not out of the question, but you should be OK. As for the mudflaps, RekGen FTW. :spending:
