Anyone have any suggestions on my paint bubbling?

This is why you need to have a picture of it with the "red" staining and peeling. If you don't have this keep an eye on it as it will eventually and quickly get worse, or go back or contact Toyota directly. I made note that I had other instances of the same condition saved on my phone. Makes NO sense why they cover some people and don't cover other's Paint Mottling?? Pfft. If you don't have this keep an eye on it and go back or contact Toyota directly.

Look on the other side in the same place and see if there's anything there. I'll be honest, that does look like what they are saying. Not saying it is, given my experience but I almost started to pick at mine and stopped because I didn't want to expose the metal and because I wanted Toyota to see it as I found it.

 

I got the same "good faith" line, like they were doing me a favor.

This has been dealt with already. At this point, hopefully this thread helps some of the other guys on here who are having a similar problem.

 

Yeah I can see why they might think it started from the chip. I tried explaining how the rust started first and once touching it, the paint chipped off.
