If it’s a returnless style LS engine then the fuel pressure regulator was originally built into the fuel sender in the tank. Luckily they make solutions for that now.

 

The engine was swapped into a 79 Camaro so he kept that for the 6.0 he is upgrading to. So I've got to piece it together. I'm hoping some of the picture becomes clearer once the 5vz is out but regardless, the answer I needed was "I need a new FPR, maybe a pump but that's TBD"

 

Well if you'd answer the other question I asked I might be able to save you some effort because they make all-in-one pump and fuel pressure regulator combos for LS swaps

 

I don't have that answer right now and will need to do some more research.
