All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
My only thought is that I should have bought everything in white. More visible and black just soaks up the sun. At least it doesn’t look dirty as hell like my dual sport gear, but who gives a shit anyway. You can’t see it when your wearing it :)

Man that looks awesome! I bet that does vent well, and I have yet to rash my underside so that area isn’t the biggest concern for me.

edit - spellcheck butchered my reply. Jesus, it wrote the exact opposite of what I was trying to say.

Yeah I am thinking of upgrading to white and keep the black as a back up. Sucks cause my matte black arai x4 is like new.

I think that discount is on the event tickets, not on Mosko Moto itself.

But also when I looked at their site the other day when you sent me the rackless colors to look at, I got looking at their Gnat handlebar bag. I might get one. Tank bag was like 10% in the way when I was offroad the other weekend. My junk was hitting it when standing, and not in a painful way or anything, I was just very away of it's presence and potential impact spots.

It flows air great, and the panels are placed well with majority of the jacket being leather in the key abrasion areas. It came with the newer nucleon flex armor in shoulders/elbows and that stuff is amazing. I also added chest and back protectors to it.

I'm a big fan of Astars, quality is top notch. White would have been nice though

i'm not that young, I just got started way too late. But thanks for the compliment :)

Yup, always dress for the slide. My lightest jacket is my usual day to day Dainese textile jacket with some zippers, I don't even trust the mesh jackets. Always boots, gloves, helmet, the only thing I kinda skimp on is riding pants. I wear riding jeans that are kevlar lined and have knee padding. Still need to pick up a real pair of leather riding pants.

Lol yup. been slowly transitioning to white over black because of this. too little too late haha

Good news, plugged in @nd4spdbh 's GTYR tuner into the new YZ250F I picked up last week, reading is at 57.21 hours. a little bit more than the owner quoted me at but certainly a very reasonable amount of time put on it, especially for a 2016.

going over it the next week or so to do fork seals, chain and sprockets, install an hour meter, and hand off to a guy to check the valves and see if they need adjusting but I'm thinking this bike will be in p good condition and ready to ride very soon.

I got one from the brand "Mission" that allegedly have a cooling effect. Soak it in water before your ride. It def works as advertised. I think you can find them at Lowes / HD.

I just attempted to put some Driven grips that i had laying around, on. And had a dummy momment. The one that I grabbed and trimmed, was too big for the clutch side. Bummed, i went back inside and started browsing for different grips. I was on RMATV site and watched a video about how to install. Apparently, theres a clutch side and a throttle side.:evil:

So I went back out, and got the other one, and sure enough, it fit. I didnt have any grip glue, but hairspray will work just fine for now. Havent done the throttle side yet, but Im sure it will be a breeze. Its been a long week I guess :anonymous:

Heck yeah! Glad the handheld got some use! Do note - you can reset the hour reading via the handheld if you wish (some guys reset it every oil change) But if the original owner didnt have the handheld I doubt it was ever reset (i have never reset mine as I like to see total hours)

If you are in there to do the fork seals, def do the slider bushings and cartridge fluid.

I mean, go for it if thats the case, i doubt never been dropped tho. Also even if its not, hanging long wheelies without a modded oil pump pickup will starve the bike for oil.
